Fear Doesn’t Discriminate
The other day I woke up with an unexplainable bout of fear. At first I thought, “What is wrong with me?!” I’m currently in such a great place in so many areas of my life. I’m in a season where I’m receiving a lot of things I’ve prayed for and I’m incredibly grateful. I’m also in a season of expansion and growth, but just because it’s positive doesn’t mean it’s comfortable.
Fear doesn’t discriminate. It loves popping up even when things are aligning beautifully. Limiting beliefs are sneaky. You’ll think you’ve kicked one to the curb, only for it to resurface in a new way at the next level.
So I felt that familiar fear come up. I felt myself wanting to distract myself, shrink, and hide. And then I leaned in to work through the limiting beliefs that were triggered in a new way.
And today, even though the fear still lingers a bit, I’m reminding myself that…
I am fully supported to go after my dreams.
I am worthy of love, happiness, and success.
It is safe for me to want.
Everything works out for my highest good.
I am meant to pursue what lights me up.
And I’m choosing to show up fully in my worth. This is why mindset work is a lifelong process. This is why it’s so important to have the tools to help you move through it. The fears never go away, but they don’t have to run your life or determine your outcomes.
So if you’re feeling fearful, uncertain, and like you want to hide, I want to encourage you to lean in. Repeat these affirmations and choose to show up anyway. I’ll be rooting for you!
