Your thoughts are a mental warm-up for physical action. Your subconscious is responsible for 95% of your daily actions. Visualization is a way to communicate with your subconscious and align your identity, beliefs, and habits with your biggest goals.
This way, your mind will filter out all the information that it picks up throughout the day that doesn't align with your goals. This makes it so much easier to take action!
Start by getting really clear on what you want. Brain dump what that will look, feel, and sound like. Be specific so you can picture it as clearly as possible.
Then, get comfortable. You want to be in a relaxed, meditative state. Play music or even listen to a guided visualization to help here.
Visualize yourself accomplishing your goal and living out your dream like you're watching a movie of it. This is super motivating and will help you close the gap.
Surrender your vision. This is when you get to actively practice faith. This is also a great time to use affirmations if you want and practice gratitude for all the good in your life.
Finally, decide on 1-3 actions steps the version of you who accomplishes your goal would take today. Then, schedule them out and go do them!
